Hey Pia. This definitely goes on my list of the top five most historic things to happen in my life time. All day today I've been in a daze. While watching Obama's acceptance speech last night it occurred to me that I have never been so emotionally moved by an election in my life. I felt caught in an energy that I couldn't define. That's when I began to see just how big this really is. I saw, for the first time in my life that the phrase "Yes we can!" wasn't just some trite platitude. I really felt it! I've never had this reaction to politics before. It's very unsettling. I've always felt that this is what the leader of a country should sound like. Up until now I've been very disappointed.
Now, I'll be the first to admit that he's got one hell of a mess to clean up. Maybe to much for one person. But I really feel that we are finally heading in the right direction. Hope you're dong well. Maybe I'll see you at the dinner tomorrow.
