Wonder Bread and Curry...

Jhumpa Lahiri, the wonderful Indian-American author of The Interpreter of Maladies and the wonderful novel that was made into a movie, The Namesake, has released a new collection of stories, Unaccustomed Earth.

Extensive New York times review here.

For anyone who has experienced the transcendent joys and the oddly mundane, but occasionally paralyzing, insecurities of being both at home and a stranger to this wonderful country, her books will resonate.
